any of you listen to Tibbets, especially the early stuff like "Yr"? Some pretty wild, and occasionally mesmerizing, work. Or early Coste Apetrea late 70s fusion (guitarist) from Sweden? Coste and Jukka Tolonen did an album, "Touch Wood", that is a classic acosutic duo. And there is a Danish band, "Acoustic Guitars", a trio, that all Al/John/Paco trio fans would LOVE. Have four CDs out in Europe. Not to mention the electric flamenco of guitarist Max Suner of Barcelona, or some wonderful flamenco/jazz from spanish guitarist Toti Soler. Also check out terrific Nono Garcia. And finally, if you do not own EVERYTHING by Catalan flamenco pianist Chano Dominguez, you're really missing out. It would be MIND BLOWING to see Al and Chano do some improvised duets. I saw Chano playing piano to tap dancers (with Wynton Marsalis), crazy good.

A lot of names there! They're unfamiliar to me, so I might check them out. Thanks. Although...my former insatiable desire to perpetually hear new music is not what it used to be. I guess I've grown tired!

Thanks Neal. Just checked out the website for Acoustic Guitars, some great playing!

That Coste and Jukka Tolonen album is available on ebay for $222.00  Classic is right. I'll have to look for a digital source...

Thanks again.

I've been listening to Tibbetts for about 20 years. I like YR, the self titled album, Exploded View, and Safe Journey.
